The LUC inauguration movement is a significant movement. We are significant. Our planet is significant.
We, the movement…
Are united in the shared understanding that, collectively, we have the ability to protect ourselves and our neighbors from various sociopolitical threats, resist hateful and divisive politics, and effect the genuine, lasting change that we so desperately need.
We believe that through the formation of a broad and well-organized coalition of communities, a brighter future is possible: A future without racism, sexism, xenophobia, homophobia, and ableism; a future without states, borders, and occupation; a future without perennial war, senseless brutality, and violence; a future where all people can live free of fear, surveillance, and persecution; a future where all people have a right to clean air, water, and food; a future where all people have a right to gainful employment, quality housing, education, and healthcare; a future that celebrates the richness of our diversity, yet is rooted in the appreciation of our common humanity—a future that we can all be proud of.
